Our members enjoy learning together through monthly meetings, workshops, demonstrations, and the sharing of knowledge and experience.
We meet at the beautiful Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota on the second Tuesday of each month. We invite you to visit a meeting, meet fellow enthusiasts, and discover the beauty, artistry, and lifelong enjoyment of bonsai.

Description:
Free BYOT (bring your own tree) workshop. The first 20 members to sign up will participate, all others may observe. Contact shofubonsai@gmail.com to sign up. Jesus Brito (award winning artist from the Miami area) will host the afternoon workshop and offer advice, then give a presentation on styling an old Green Island ficus, which will be raffled, during the evening program.
